Paninoteca a Roma Trastevere

Donkey Punch o “Nel buco del mulo” è un originalissimo locale con una identità tutta propria; nato nel 2011 nel cuore di Trastevere, si presenta come una paninoteca e birreria fedelmente organizzata e decorata in stile rock’n roll. Un meraviglioso affresco domina una intera parete, rappresentando tutti I più grandi maestri del rock’n roll e blues che hanno fatto la storia della musica.

La caratteristica principale del Donkey Punch è mettere il cliente nelle condizioni di creare il proprio panino. Il nostro menu presenta una vastissima scelta di ingredienti: puoi trovare diverse tipologie di pane, carne, pesce, formaggi e verdure (fresche o cucinate secondo tradizione).

In questo modo è possibile creare una vasta gamma di panini e piatti vegetariani e vegani. Ma non basta: se non vuoi il pane, esiste anche l’opzione “crea la tua insalata”. Inoltre offriamo un’ampia scelta di birre artigianali locali (italiane e di importazione da tutto il mondo).

Amazing sandwiches!! The theme is famous singers, and there is a different sandwich for each one. You can also make your custom sandwich if you would like. Prices are very cheap, hard to pass 9-10 euros, and the sandwich is very filling. The guy who made the sandwich was very nice and funny. Recommended!!

So yummy and a great variety of vegan options. Went with the roasted egg plant, arugula, basil and olive spread vegan option and it didn't disappoint!! Bread was lovely and fresh and the guy working there was so friendly and super fluent in English, even offered us a free beer and meat to try (although I declined☺️). Definitely would go back!
